Is it really free?
Yes. There is no account, no email capture, and no limit on how many invoices you make. The only trace of us is one small grey line in the footer of the PDF.
Does my information get uploaded anywhere?
No. The page runs entirely in your browser — your business details, your client, your figures, and your logo never reach a server, and nothing is stored after you close the tab.
What should an invoice include?
Your business name and contact details, your client, a unique invoice number, the issue date and the due date, an itemised list of what you are charging for, any tax applied, the total due, and how you would like to be paid. The generator has a field for each of them.
Can I add tax or VAT?
Yes. Set the label to whatever applies to you — sales tax, VAT, GST — and enter the rate. It is applied to the subtotal and shown as its own line.
Does it keep my invoices or tell me when one is paid?
No, and that is on purpose — this tool makes documents, it does not track them. Nothing is saved, so the next invoice starts from a blank page. If you need saved clients, running invoice numbers, payment links, and a view of what is still outstanding, that is what Liquid Invoice does.
Can I use it on my phone?
Yes. Switch between Edit and Preview at the top, fill it in, and download. The PDF is identical on any device.
