1. Introduction

Connex Creative LLC, operating as Liquid OS ("we," "us," or "our"), operates the Liquid OS platform and its related products: Liquid Q (booking), Liquid Service, Liquid Shop, Liquid Studio, Liquid Invoice, Liquid Expense, and Liquid Flow (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy applies to all of them and explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service.

2. Information We Collect

Information You Provide

• Account information: name, email address, phone number, business name
• Payment information: processed securely through Stripe (we do not store card numbers)
• Business data: contacts, invoices, appointments, products, and other data you enter into the platform
• Communications: messages you send through the platform or to our support team

Information Collected Automatically

• Device and browser information
• IP address and approximate location
• Usage data: pages visited, features used, timestamps
• Cookies and similar tracking technologies

3. How We Use Your Information

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Service
• Process transactions and send related information (receipts, invoices, confirmations)
• Send administrative messages: security alerts, account notifications, support responses
• Improve and personalize the Service
• Comply with legal obligations
• Detect and prevent fraud or abuse

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your business data for advertising purposes.

4. Data Sharing

We share information only in these limited circumstances:

• Service providers: Supabase (database and file storage), Vercel (hosting), Stripe (payment processing), Resend (transactional email delivery), Twilio (SMS and voice), Nylas (email and calendar integration, where you connect an account), Anthropic (AI document and text processing — see below), and Cloudflare (DNS and inbound email routing) — only as necessary to operate the Service
• Legal requirements: When required by law, subpoena, or legal process
• Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets
• With your consent: When you explicitly authorize sharing

5. Artificial Intelligence Features

Some products use AI to read documents and text you provide, so you do not have to type them in by hand. Where this happens, the content is sent to Anthropic, which processes it and returns the extracted information to us.

• Receipt and document scanning (Liquid Expense): when you scan a receipt or upload a document, the image or PDF itself is sent to Anthropic so the vendor, date, amount, tax and line items can be read from it.
• Guided setup and assistance (Liquid OS, Service, Shop, Studio, Booking): text you enter when describing your business is sent so suggestions can be generated.

Anthropic does not use content submitted through its API to train its models. We do not send your data to any AI provider for advertising, profiling, or model training.

AI output is always a suggestion, never a decision. Figures read from a document are presented to you for review and are only recorded once you save them yourself. No financial or tax record is created automatically from an AI reading.

These features are optional. Every product that offers a scan also allows the same record to be entered manually, and choosing not to use the scan means nothing is sent to an AI provider.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including:

• Encryption in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest
• Database-level isolation so one business cannot read another's data
• Access controls following the principle of least privilege
• Uploaded files (receipts, photographs, documents) held in private storage and served only through short-lived links to the account that owns them
• Multi-factor authentication, available in Liquid OS

No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise. If you believe you have found a vulnerability, please contact us at privacy@liquidsys.io and we will investigate.

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Liquid Q, Liquid Service, Liquid Shop, Liquid Studio, Liquid Invoice and Liquid Expense each include an in-app option to delete your account, which removes your data immediately rather than on request — including files you have uploaded, such as receipt images and photographs. You may also request deletion at any time by contacting us, and we will act within 30 days of a verified request. We retain records only where the law requires it (for example, tax and financial reporting obligations).

Deleting your account in one product does not delete your Liquid sign-in if you use another Liquid product with the same email address. The sign-in is removed once the last product on it is deleted.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Export your data in a portable format
• Opt out of marketing communications
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

9. Cookies

We use essential cookies to maintain your session and preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

10. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, we will delete it promptly.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
